The Aquaforte EconoBead filter series is the cheapest variant of the Aquaforte Ultrabead filter and is preferably used in the Koi inner containers. The Aquaforte EconoBead filter can be installed above or below the pond level due to its closed state, because the existing 6-way valve makes it possible. The Aquaforte EconoBead filter is equipped with a fan as standard, the fan produces a gigantic amount of air, so the small plastic beads can be perfectly cleaned. With the 6-way valve you can set the Aquaforte EconoBead filter so whether it is filtering, backwashing, i.e. flipping over the EconoBead filter, or pumping out the koi pond is possible. The Aquaforte EconoBead Filter EB-50 bead filter is installed in no time. The beads have a huge filter surface of 1600 m² / m³. The delivery of the Aquaforte EconoBead Filter EB-50 bead filter includes beads and blower. The Aquaforte EconoBead Filter EB-50 bead filter has a strong housing made of PE, the maximum operating pressure is 1.2 bar. The optional standard bypass ensures a lower pressure loss and ensures an optimal flow in the EconoBead filter.

The Aquaforte EconoBead Filter EB-50 bead filter should, if possible, be operated with a pond pressure pump. The manufacturer Aquaforte offers a bypass for all EconoBead filters. This must be purchased separately and is not included, or you can choose the filter model with bypass right away. The bypass enables the use of energy-saving pond pumps. The existing 6-way valve is simply bypassed during the pond water filtering, so that the pond water runs straight into and out of the EconoBead filter. During the flushing of the EconoBead filter, the slide valves on the bypass are closed, then the pond water flows again through the 6-way valve. The bypass system is very easy to mount on all bead filters thanks to its threaded couplings. The inlet and outlet of the EconoBead filter models EB-40 and EB-50 are designed in 50 mm in the models EB-60, EB-100 and EB-140 in 63 mm. The UVC device must be installed after the EconoBead filter, gravity installation is only possible with a wedge wire in front of it.
