After 17 successful years, a new model of the AquaForte UltraBead Filter UB-60 bead filter. The manufacturer AquaForte presents the new generation of the most popular AquaForte UltraBead Filters UB-60 bead filters. The AquaForte UltraBead filters are completely closed pressure filters that are filled with millions of plastic beads. These plastic beads take care of the mechanical filtering as well as the biological filtering.

When the AquaForte UltraBead filter is in use for a longer period of time, a thick biofilm builds up around the beads, which means that very fine dirt particles up to 10 microns are retained. When choosing the pond pump, you can count on a counter pressure of 3 m water column. Our own Koi sales system is also equipped with a bead filter. The AquaForte UltraBead Filter UB-60 bead filter has a water throughput of 18000 liters per hour and is suitable for a koi pond size of up to 40 m³.

The AquaForte UltraBead Filter UB-60 Beadfilter can be installed both above and below the pond level due to its closed state, the 6-way valve makes it possible. The AquaForte UltraBead Filter UB-60 bead filter is equipped with a fan as standard, the fan produces a gigantic amount of air, so the beads are perfectly cleaned. With the professional 6-way valve you can filter, backwash, roll over the filter and also pump out the koi pond. The AquaForte UltraBead Filter UB-60 bead filter is installed in no time. As a filter medium, these beads have a huge surface area of 1600 m² / m³.

The delivery includes beads, blower and bypass. The AquaForte UltraBead Filter UB-60 bead filter is made of indestructible thermoplastic, the maximum operating pressure is 2.5 bar. The bypass included in the standard scope of delivery ensures a lower pressure loss and an optimal flow. The AquaForte UltraBead Filter UB-60 bead filter should be operated with a pressure pump.

The standard bypass enables the use of energy-saving pumps. The 6-way valve is simply bypassed during the pond water filtering so that the pond water runs directly into and out of the bead filter. During the bead filter rinsing, all slide valves on the bypass are closed, then the pond water flows through the 6-way valve. The bypass system is very easy to mount on all bead filters thanks to its PVC threaded couplings. The inlet and outlet are designed in 63 mm.
