Pool filtration systems
Pool filter systems are almost the heart of a pool. Only by the use of a corresponding pool filter system is guaranteed an undisturbed Badespass. Filter systems for pools prevent the bath water from being polluted by dirt accumulations of all kinds, or that germs and bacteria colonize and multiply. Finally, the health aspect is at the forefront, especially when children use the swimming pool. When purchasing, it is imperative to ensure that the capacity of the installation corresponds to the size of the swimming pool, otherwise a filter system can not fulfill its tasks meaningfully.
Essential differences of pool filter systems
The most important task of the pump of filter systems is that it circulates the bath water at least once a day. Depending on the basin volume, the size and the power of the filter system including the pump must be adjusted accordingly. When the pool is heated, another task of the pump is to pump the water through the heat exchanger. In principle, one differentiates in two filter system variants, namely on the one hand in cartridge filter systems and on the other hand in sand filter systems. Cartridge filter systems are mostly used for smaller swimming pools or swimming pools. Unfortunately, they are not particularly suitable for outdoor swimming pools, as they are exposed to various external influences, leaves, pollen etc. and thus smear easily. Therefore cartridge filter systems have to be exchanged or cleaned more frequently, which means more effort. Sand filter systems, on the other hand, are easier to clean because they are equipped with the "backwash" function. This function enables a flushing process from the bottom to the top. Say, the dirt is rinsed out over a separate channel, so the filter performance is again produced optimally. It is even recommended by many manufacturers to do this rinse once a week.
