A two-line text display and a large LED display ensure a high level of operating convenience and very good readability of the measured values, of course, even in the dark and from a great distance. With an additional external display, you can also find out about the current measured values in another room.

Up to two socket strips with 4 sockets each can be connected to the Iks Aquastar Midi pH without electrodes. That means 1 plus 8 controlled sockets, which are also available dimmable for highly realistic simulations. Up to 32 timer functions with a weekday function can be programmed with the iks aquastar midi. The shortest switching time is only 1 second. This means, for example, that the smallest amounts of trace elements can be added evenly and automatically with the help of a dosing pump such as the iks Vario. The iks Vario MP 045 dosing pump only delivers 0.075 ml per second in the smallest setting.

The interval functions can be individually adapted to your own needs. The duration of the interval can be set separately for the active and passive phases, whereby a random variant of time can be specified for both. With the comprehensive day / night simulation, the lighting of the aquarium is optimized and made child's play. This can be used to set a wide variety of switch-on and switch-off times for the lighting. If the lighting used is dimmable, a sunrise or sunset can be simulated. It is even possible to simulate the sunrise / sunset of a certain region of the world by entering the latitude and longitude! This function also enables the period of night-time reduction in pH value, temperature, current, etc. The integrated moon phase simulation leaves nothing to be desired. You can choose between two variants. A practical one for the aquarist and a real simulation of the moonlight, for example in coral farming, in which both the length and the intensity of the light intensity are taken into account.

It is even possible to simulate the moon phase of a certain region of the earth by entering latitude and longitude! The various variants of the flow simulation, such as pulsating waves or ebb and flow, are also very extensive. Regardless of how big the aquarium is or what form it may be, you can create an optimal flow for every aquarium tank with this simulation, which has been thought through down to the last detail. You can control up to 8 aquarium pumps! In the professional programming level, up to eight different controls can be carried out with one measuring module and one control module. Case study: At 25 ° C, socket 1 is activated with floor heating. If the temperature drops further to 24.5 ° C, a heating element is connected to socket 2. If the temperature in your pool gets too high, a fan / cooling device can be switched on at 27 ° C on socket 3. With all these functions you can also enter different values for day / night and summer / winter.
