The sixth volume concludes the book series. This final volume in the book series covers the invertebrates not included in Volumes 4 and 5. Two extensive chapters are devoted to crustaceans and echinoderms, which are framed by two smaller chapters on comb jellies, calyxes, horseshoeworms, moss animals, brachiopods, tardigrades, woodlice spiders and arrowtails, as well as sea squirts and lancelets. In the first chapter, written by Dr. Bruce Carlson of the Waikiki Aquarium, Honolulu, Hawaii, assesses the future of the coral reef aquarium. An appendix to this chapter explains which steps have already been taken for the future.
