Singapore has also been going its own way in discus breeding for many years. For many years, Penang has been referred to as the stronghold of discus breeding in Southeast Asia. Many new color creations made their way from the small island in the Indian Ocean all over the world. Although the number of breeders in Penang has decreased due to global economic changes, the discus fish from Penang still belong to the "special" from Asia, mainly because of the breeding use. This DVD shows breeders and breeding facilities on Penang as well as the associated areas and gives impressions of the status of discus breeding there.
