Swimming pool thermometer

When the sun is shining and the outside temperature is right, there's nothing to stop you from taking a long dip in your own pool. But the water temperature should also be just right. With the help of a thermometer, pool owners can ideally check the temperature of the bathing water at any time. However, there are other important reasons for keeping an eye on the water temperature, namely for hygiene and health reasons. If the temperature rises, it is essential to adjust the concentration of the chemicals used so that the pH value, among other things, is optimised.
In a pool basin, temperatures between 25 and 28 °C are the ideal guide value. It should also be noted that the higher the temperature, the greater the evaporation. If the temperature in a pool exceeds 30 °C, a cover is recommended. In principle, however, every pool owner should choose a water temperature that is optimal for them.

Different thermometers

There is a wide range of thermometers, so every pool owner is guaranteed to find a suitable thermometer. The range extends from classic thermometer models including a fastening cord, either with a floating head or floating ball. Digital radio thermometers are very popular, as they not only display specific outdoor and water temperatures, but are also easy to use and effortless to read. The prices for a thermometer naturally vary, depending on the requirements of the pool owner. Basically, however, it doesn't matter which model you choose, because the bottom line is that the water and outside temperature must be under control to prevent damage to health.
