Ochiba - a koi with special characteristics

There are currently two breeding lines of the Ochiba variety, which in turn are divided into two groups. Although both groups strive to consolidate certain colour markings, they differ in terms of patterning. The first group aims to achieve an optimal result in terms of clear and distinct features of the brown colouring, while the second group strives for a scattered pattern that is ideally interrupted by individual scales. Both groups are interesting in their own way and enjoy great popularity. However, the Ochiba is characterised by a particularly peculiar feature, namely that the colouring darkens enormously over the years, producing an uncertain result that is unpredictable.
