Koi rearing food - for healthy growth
Very young koi require special food so that they can develop appropriately for their age. In the beginning, the babies feed on the yolk sac that surrounds them. However, they soon have to look after their own food, namely when the yolk sac is about two thirds used up. Koi do not care for their brood, but leave their offspring to fend for themselves. It is therefore extremely important to have suitable koi food ready for the little ones in good time. In the first few days, koi fry feed on plankton, but after about two weeks they need koi rearing food.
